Synthetic Beeswax is a super effective ingredient made to match the properties of natural beeswax. It is primarily a moisturising agent that also helps some formulations achieve their rich and creamy textures. Its a safe ingredient and is good for the skin consising primarily of C18-30-alkyl ester of C16-32 fatty acids, C16-32 fatty acids and C22-34 alkanes. Notably, synthetic beeswax is vegan and halal.

Boron Nitride
Boron Nitride is a synthetic filler that has a silky texture and can improve the slip and blendability of pigments. This gives the smoothest, creamiest feel to powders, improves application and, in our opinion, makes our powders enhance the luminosity and brightness of your face. Its hexagonal crystal structure provides a silky and smooth feel, good slip and excellent skin adhesion properties which enables makeup stay on the face for long periods of time.

Acts as an antioxidant, conditioning and hyperaemic agent (stimulates blood circulation). It offers anti-cellulite and firming properties. As well as helping to reduce dark circles, puffy eyes and improve facial redness, it supports protection from UV induced radical damage in sunscreens.

Silicones

Sodium Chloride

Sodium Dehydroacetate

Sodium Hydroxide
A strong alkaline compound that is essential in the traditional art of soap making. It acts as the catalyst for saponification — the process that transforms oils, such as olive oil, into soap (sodium olivate). By the end of this process, all of the Sodium Hydroxide has been completely neutralised, leaving behind a safe, gentle cleanser. We resisted using talc for some time, as it is often misunderstood and associated with negative press. However, once trialled, its superiority was undeniable — the skin feel and performance it brings simply cannot be matched by alternatives. In our Bronzers and Blushers, talc ensures powders blend seamlessly, stay even and deliver a finish that is refined, comfortable and elegant. Importantly, we use only cosmetic-grade talc, tested for purity and safety, giving our customers the best skin feel achievable without compromise.
Tetrahydrodiferuloylmethane
A highly active antioxidant derived from curcumin, the golden compound found in turmeric. It is celebrated for its ability to fight free radicals, calm irritation and brighten the complexion.
